SoundTrack DMP [Digital Media Promotions]

SoundTrack Media Promotions (also know as SoundTrack DMP) otherwise known as the “Company” agrees to provide the following radio and promotional services to you otherwise known as the “Client” in regards to the single song. This agreement has the option of continuance upon the discretion of both parties in regards to promoting said song.

 

1st Month (Initial Setup)

 

The Company will create and provide the following materials:

• Press Kit

• Bio (edit as needed)

• One Sheet

• Press Release

• Post Card Concept

• Flyer (Coming Soon)

• Other promotional materials for said song will be provided upon discussion and agreement.

 

The Company will create an email address for the client for the sole purpose of conducting business for the benefit of promoting and distribution of the Client’s song and intellectual property related to said song.

 

The Company will serve as an authorized agent for the Client but does not have any legal right to the Client’s music, name, digital or intellectual property that is owned by the Client.

 

The Company will create a Reverbnation Website.

 

The Company will set up a social media email campaign mechanism to communicate effectively with fans and expand fan base.

 

The Company will need access to the Client’s email provider or the Client can send to the Company a CSV file from said Client's email provider containing email addresses.

 

The Client will supply any other fan base, database or contact list to the Company which will be shared with the Client.

The Company will create and maintain a database in the categories of:

• Personal contacts

• Media contacts

• Church contacts

           

The Company will need access to the Client’s Face Book Page to create an artist/music Face Book page and to add any necessary links, apps and widgets.

 

The Company will assist the Client in implementing house concerts and any on-line concerts either through www.stageit.com or www.concertwindow.com.

 

The Company will establish “online” and “brick and mortar” radio station lists this first month for radio submission of said song in the second or third month.

 

The Client will need to supply a complete mastered single audio track in the form of an mp3 for radio and record promotion, and manufacturing.

 

The Client will need to supply the artwork for the single track as well as the full record album. The Company will supply artwork dimensions for on-demand manufacturing.

            2 – Panel and 4 – Panel artwork is needed

 

The Client will need to develop a music website solely dedicated to the music. The Company is available to create the website at an additional cost. Other websites owned by the Client shall be linked to the music website.

 

The company is available to create the website at an additional cost of $200.00 plus hosting fee (available upon request).

The Client has the option of choosing the Company to create said music website or choose another source. Links to any other website(s) can be placed on the music website.

 

The Company suggests that a concept music video be created by the Client to compliment the promotion and distribution of the song that is being promoted to radio.

 

The Client needs to create a publishing company for the music and establish relations with a licensing organization such as BMI, ASCAP, or SESAC and must establish a relationship with Sound Exchange for internet royalty payments.

 

2nd Month

           

The Client has the option of having the Company provide and implement digital distribution through CME Distribution for the said song to the following online stores (see website for more details at www.cmedistribution.com).

• Amazon.com

• iTunes

• ReverbNation

• Google Play

• Lastfm

• Pandora (if it meets their acceptance requirements)

 

NOTE: CME Distribution’s digital distribution is optional. The Client has the option of securing their own distribution. CME Distribution manufactures and distributes through CreateSpace.com which is a subsidiary of Amazon.com.

 

MP3

 

Amazon’s “frontline” mp3 royalty per track sale is $0.65 per track. CME will receive 10% ($0.06), and Client will receive 90% ($0.60). (For a complete royalty breakdown of multiple tracts, see: www.createspace.com/Products/MP3/ then click on Pricing & Royalties under the heading “Frontline.”

 

CD on Demand

 

See example of royalties for CD’s on demand at: www.createspace.com/Products/CD/ then click on the “Pricing & Royalties” tab. CME will receive 10% of whatever royalties are paid by Amazon.com and the Client will receive 90%.

 

CME also administrates distribution through Reverbnation’s distribution channels which includes iTunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody, Last.fm, Google, Spotify, and others. CME will deduct a 10% administration fee of the cumulative monthly royalty payout. You, the “Client” will receive 90% of the cumulative monthly royalty payout. The Company will submit “said song” to radio stations whose music formats/genres are compatible.  

 

The Company will continue to work social media promotions which will incorporate new fans into the database and marketing system such as:

• Email blasts

• Social Media

• Targeted Campaigns

• Events

• Newsletter, etc.

 

3rd Month and all consecutive months

 

The Company will provide media promotions and campaigns to generate:

• Additional fan loyalty

• Retails sales

• Performances

• Public awareness

• Radio and TV interviews and appearances

• Events, etc.

 

The Company will work social media companies like Fan Bridge and the like to facilitate promotions such as:

• Email blasts

• Targeted Campaigns

• Events

• Newsletter, etc.)

 

Reporting Periods

 

The Company will also provide monthly progress reports to the Client every month.

 

Evaluation Periods

 

The Company will evaluate the progress of the promotion with the Client every six months to make observations and decisions relative to the goals, objectives and direction of the promotion.

 

Payment

 

Services rendered by the Company will begin on the date the payment is submitted and the Client agrees to pay the Company the sum of $499.00 per month for six months for services rendered.

 

Payment may be rendered by a check made payable to CME Distribution and to be received by Company on the anniversary date specified above. Payment may also be rendered to the Company via Paypal either by monthly submission in which an invoice will be generated to the Client or by an automatic monthly transaction which can be set up from the Client to the Company via Paypal.

 

All items considered, this agreement shall be in force by the signing by the parties involved. This agreement shall remain in force and can be dissolved at any time as mutually agreed upon.
